After pastoring in two Assemblies of God churches in Northern Ohio, Mike began to sense God's calling to the needs of world missions. Says Mike, " Everytime I began to pray for other nations a strong sense of personal conviction would come over me." On numerous occasions when missionaries would visit the church Mike would express his feelings and the answer would always come back the same. "Mike" they would say, "It sounds like the Lord is calling you too."
Ilona began to sense God's calling to World Missions as a Pastor's wife in Northern Ohio. She considers her first ministry being a mom; after that she is actively involved in teaching women and helping Mike fulfill the vision they have.
As a minister's wife and missionary herself Ilona enjoys scrapbooking, sewing and spending time with her family. You many find her relaxing with a good book, preferably a biography or historical fiction. She loves to cook and bake, and wishes chocolate chips were as readily available here in Chihuahua as in the states!
