Michael (14) has been working part time bagging groceries. His only pay is tips given by customers, but nonetheless has faithfully managed to save up his money to buy his own airline ticket to Ohio. He is pumped as he looks forward to spending time with both sides of the family this summer and attending Jr. High camp at Heartland in July (for which he is also saving).

Having just turned 12 in May, Joseph now considers himself a teenager. His first youth event was a city wide prayer meeting. He is finishing up the 6th grade as one of the top students in his bi-lingual school. He continues with the trombone, but desired to add something livelier to his musical abilities: drums. So far he has sticks and practices drills given by the music teacher. Mom just has one question before going any further: do they sell mutes with drum sets??
